CFP: Transnational Heritage Workshop: Bridging Cultures Through Regional Cooperation

Levinsky-Wingate Academic College will host a workshop on Heritage, emphasizing educational, technological and social inclusion perspectives. The workshop will take place from May 26 to May 29, 2025, in Tel Aviv. The workshop will be held in a hybrid mode.

The workshop aims to:

  • facilitate knowledge sharing of best practices and innovative technological approaches in heritage preservation among participants from Georgia, Bulgaria, Israel, and other regional countries.
  • strengthen regional partnerships by creating collaborative networks for developing joint projects and initiatives in preserving archaeological and religious heritage.
  • develop strategic frameworks and recommendations for incorporating advanced technologies into regional heritage conservation and archaeological research.
  • raise awareness of the role of technology in heritage and religious site management.
  • issue policy recommendations for policymakers regarding technology integration for and preserving cultural and religious heritage sites.
  • foster mutual understanding and respect among different cultures in the transnational region through shared technological experiences and collaborative projects.
  • showcase successful applications and best practices of technology utilization in preserving archaeology and religious heritage.

We invite proposals on related topics. Interested contributors should submit extended abstracts (400-600 words) by March 24, 2025, to e.kovatcheva@unibit.bg Responses will be provided by April 10, 2025.
