ULSIT Professional Training Centre

The Professional Training Center (PTC) at ULSIT is licensed by the National Agency for Vocational Education and Training under the Council of Ministers with License No. 2015121282 dated 24th February, 2016.

Since 2017, the PTC has been approved as a provider of vocational training through vouchers for all professions licensed at the Center, as well as for key competencies such as digital literacy and English language learning.

The Center conducts licensed courses in Sofia and across the country, delivered by habilitated lecturers from ULSIT and instructors from partner organizations. The lecturers conducting training in various specialties are highly qualified professionals in their fields with extensive experience. Trainees have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a real work environment even during the training itself.

The activities of the PTC at ULSIT support the National Strategy for Lifelong Learning of the Ministry of Education and Science (MES), offering opportunities for professional qualification to:

• Unemployed individuals;
• Individuals who have completed secondary education and wish to acquire a qualification level and certification for practicing a profession;
• Specialists wishing to obtain a second profession;
• Companies aiming to enhance the professional qualifications of their employees;

Each specialized course provides participants with an additional gateway for professional realization in the labor market, both domestically and abroad.

The hours for specific theoretical preparation and the core practical training are conducted in a real work environment.

The professions offered at the PTC at ULSIT include:  

* Degree of Professional Qualification

Trainees who successfully complete the full training program in theory and practice, the PTC at ULSIT issues State Certificates for Professional Qualification in the respective profession. For those who wish to undergo vocational training in a specific part of a given profession, the CPT issues Certificates of Professional Qualification.

The PTC at ULSIT also offers the opportunity to validate knowledge for any of the professions offered. The following documents are issued: a Certificate for Validation of Part of a Profession or a Certificate for Validation of Professional Qualification. Both validation documents recognize proven knowledge, skills, and competences acquired through self-directed learning or informal education
