The Department of Comprehensive Studies is a core unit at ULSIT that provides instruction in subjects that are not part of a specific specialty. Through these disciplines, students have the opportunity to gain a broad range of knowledge across various fields of science and culture, essential for any well-educated Bulgarian with higher education. The department‘s instructors teach courses in Russian Literature, European Literature, American Literature, and Children’s literature, Philosophy, Political Science, Organizational and Business Psychology, English, Russian, a second Western language, a Balkan language civil law, sports, etc.
The department has also established a Foreign Language Training Center to better organise and conduct advanced foreign language studies at ULSIT.A key advantage for students is the ability to choose elective and optional courses included in the curriculum based on their preferences and interests.The Department of Comprehensive Studies is staffed by highly qualified instructors who share their knowledge and skills with students with professionalism and dedication.
